Signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation with the Platinum Society Network (General Incorporated Association)

Resource Recycling Council has agreed to mutually cooperate with the Platinum Society Network (President: Hiroshi Komiyama) to achieve their founding objectives and concluded a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation.

By leveraging each other’s knowledge and networks, both parties will enhance their activities to a higher level.

■ Main Areas of Collaboration

・Engage in mutual exchanges to understand each other’s activities, utilize each other’s capabilities, and thereby expand and streamline their respective operations.
・Participate as “Observers” in symposia, working groups, and other activities organized by either party.

Established: January 2022 (Predecessor was a voluntary organization from August 2010 to April 2022)

President: Hiroshi Komiyama (Chairman of Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc., 28th President of the University of Tokyo)

Purpose of Activities: Form and utilize networks of local governments, companies, and experts to promote problem-solving and social implementation toward realizing a “Platinum Society,” where the Earth is sustainable and prosperous, enabling everyone to achieve self-fulfillment.
