On June 25, 2024, a tour of TBM Co., Ltd.’s “Yokosuka Circular Factory” (a Regular Member company) was held.

Participants toured the Yokosuka Circular Factory, one of Japan’s largest recycling plants, which collects waste plastics and the newly developed LIMEX material (created by TBM Co., Ltd.), then automatically sorts and recycles them. This provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how to promote a resource recycling model via plastic material recycling.

After the tour, attendees discussed the current state of plastic recycling and exchanged views on potential challenges and ideal approaches for resource recycling.
