Announcement of New Appointments to the Board of Directors
At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Members held on December 29, 2023, the appointment of two new members to the board of directors was approved.
New Director
Mr. Yoshiteru Itotani, Executive Officer, TOPPAN Inc.
＜Profile＞
He joined Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. (now TOPPAN Inc.) in 1986. Over 27 years in the Chubu Division, he worked in the sales and planning departments, then transferred to Tokyo in 2013. As General Manager of Marketing in the Information & Communication Division, he supported client problem-solving, infrastructure development for local governments, and social systems implementation. In 2022, he became an Executive Officer in charge of company-wide public projects. In 2023, he was appointed Executive Officer (Senior) responsible for the Information & Communication Division and the Expo & IR Promotion Office. Since October 2023, TOPPAN has moved to a holding company structure to leverage synergies among its three business areas—“Information & Communication,” “Living & Industry,” and “Electronics”—in contributing to the realization of the circular economy.

Mr. Hidetoshi Sakata, Executive Officer, Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd.
＜Profile＞
He joined Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. in 1990, spending 22 years in the Technology Development Center working on production technology development. He then served in the manufacturing division for secure-related products (such as IC cards). In 2019, he assumed his current position as General Manager of the Technology and R&D Division, and in 2023, he was appointed as an Executive Officer. He promotes the creation of new value that contributes to a sustainable society.
