糸谷 祥輝Yoshiteru Itotani

Senior Executive Officer

Joined Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. (now TOPPAN Inc.) in 1986. He spent 27 years in the Chubu business division, where he worked in the sales and planning departments before transferring to Tokyo in 2013. As the Head of the Marketing Department in the Information Communication Division, he supported solving client issues, infrastructure development for local governments, and the implementation of social systems. In 2022, he was appointed Executive Officer, overseeing the company's public projects. In 2023, he was appointed Senior Executive Officer, in charge of the Information Communication Division and the Expo & IR Promotion Office. Starting in October 2023, Toppan transitioned to a holding company structure, aiming to contribute to the realization of a circular economy through the synergies of its three business segments: Information Communication, Life & Industrial, and Electronics.

金子 文雄Fumio Kaneko

President and Representative Director, Daiei Kankyo Co., Ltd.

Born in October 1956 in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. As one of the founding members of Daiei Environment, he has led the overall management of the Daiei Environment Group with strong leadership for many years. In 1983, he was appointed director of Mie Central Development, and after becoming a director of Daiei Environment Co., Ltd. in 1991, he was appointed vice president in 2002 and assumed his current position in 2007.
In its business activities, the company develops environmental-related businesses focusing on waste treatment and resource circulation, as well as valuable resource recycling. In collaboration with local governments and partner companies, the company focuses on public-private partnership projects that process local waste and transform it into energy and resources, aiming to build a "regional circulation symbiotic zone" that contributes to the realization of an autonomous, decentralized society and carbon neutrality.

坂田 英人Hideto Sakata

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd.
Executive Officer

Joined Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. in 1990. Worked at the Technology Development Center for 22 years, engaging in production technology development.
Afterwards, he worked in the manufacturing department for secure-related products such as IC cards, and in 2019, he became the Director of the Technology and Research & Development Division. He was appointed as an executive officer in 2023. He is driving the creation of new value to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

末吉 里花Rika Sueyoshi

Representative Director, Ethical Association (General Incorporated Association)

Graduated from the Faculty of Policy Management, Keio University. Has experience traveling around the world as a mystery hunter on the TBS show "Sekai Fushigi Hakken!" (The World's Mysterious Discoveries). Aiming to promote ethical consumption across Japan for the realization of a sustainable society, where ethical living serves as the measure of happiness. Wrote for the junior high school first-year Japanese language textbook (published by Kyoiku Shuppan), which began use in 2021. Author of "Inoru Kodomotachi" (Children Who Pray, Ohta Publishing), "Hajimete no Ethical" (The First Ethical, Yamakawa Publishing), picture book "Junbi wa Ikai? Nameless Monkey and the Ethical Adventure" (Yamakawa Publishing), and "Ethical Revolution Carrying the New Measure of Happiness" (Yamakawa Publishing). 瀧澤 徳也Tokuya Takizawa

Started his career as a certified public accountant at an EY member firm in 1987.
From 1993 to 1994, based in New York, USA, and was involved in auditing local investment banks. From 2007 to 2012, led Japan Business Services (JBS) in Europe, supporting the growth of Japanese companies expanding their businesses in European countries. Afterward, led the Markets division for the Japan Region, working closely with offices of EY member firms worldwide to address cross-border market challenges. In January 2022, appointed Chief Sustainability Officer of EY Japan, supporting clients in maximizing their corporate value. Contributed to EY for over 35 years.

竹本 吉輝Yoshiteru Takemoto

Representative Director, Tobimushi Inc.

Born in 1971. After completing graduate school, worked at a European-based think tank and others before focusing on forests, which are the very essence of local communities, aiming to revitalize the local forestry industry while creating systems that enable the circulation of materials, energy, and food within the region. In 2009, he founded Tobimushi Co., Ltd. Since then, he has been designing projects that contribute to the reorganization of organic relationships between forests and local communities across Japan. His specialization is environmental law, and he has been involved in numerous domestic environmental policy formulations. Representative Director of the Amacho Future Investment Committee, Amacho Management Advisor, and part-time lecturer at Musashino Gakuin University/Graduate School (Social Formations Theory).

田中 靖訓Yasunori Tanaka

After graduating from university, worked as an environmental consultant before joining Rematec. During the Great East Japan Earthquake, developed a disaster waste management scheme and implemented recovery and reconstruction support projects to protect the lives and environment of local residents, contributing to solving social issues. Additionally, developed renewable energy projects, including biogas power generation and solar power generation, as core businesses within the group. In 2014, after becoming the CEO of the Rematec Group, worked on resource circulation projects with Siam Cement Group in Thailand and the fuelization of unutilized waste (EFBEFB) in Malaysia. Dedicated to building sustainable platforms capable of adapting to changes in social systems and constructing resource circulation infrastructure both domestically and internationally, in order to contribute to solving social issues in the environmental field. Furthermore, believing that collaboration between corporations and government is key, aimed to realize a sustainable decarbonized society through public-private partnerships, and established the Japan Zero Carbon Smart City Foundation (JaZCaF), where he serves as the CEO.

谷 鉃也Tetsuya Tani

Born in Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture. After attending Aoyama Gakuin University and the University of London, joined Shin-To Communications Inc. in 2001, focusing on new sales and business development. In 2015, became the President and CEO of Kyodo PR Inc., taking charge of the company’s restructuring after ongoing poor performance. In 2022, incorporated influencer marketing company VAZ into the group. In the same year, added AI and big data solutions provider Keywalker Inc. to the group. Successfully restructured Kyodo PR and in 2024, returned as President and CEO of Shin-To Communications Inc. Author of the book "The Strongest Nagoya Venture Presidents!" (2005), which focuses on the personalities of venture company presidents in Nagoya.

田原 純香Sumika Tabara

CEO & Executive Consultant, Bipedal Inc.

After leading growth strategies and new business planning as a strategy consultant at Accenture and A.T. Kearney, joined Interbrand to engage in brand strategy consulting. In 2018, joined Mercari and took charge of leading the branding strategy formulation and execution, as well as the establishment and organization of ESG initiatives. Additionally, served as the leader of the group mission renewal project. Left Mercari in 2022 and currently holds the present position. Focuses on startup companies, providing support in areas such as articulating MVV (Mission, Vision, Values), formulating ESG strategies, identifying materiality, and assisting with the creation of sustainability/impact reports.

中井 徳太郎Tokutaro Nakai

Former Vice Minister of the Environment

Born in 1962. After graduating from the University of Tokyo Law Faculty in 1985, joined the Ministry of Finance. Served as First Secretary at the Japanese Embassy in the UK, Director of the Toyama Prefecture Department of Environmental Affairs, Director of the Public Relations Office at the Ministry of Finance, Professor at the University of Tokyo Institute of Medical Science, Planning Officer at the Ministry of Finance, Budget Officer, and other roles. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, joined the Ministry of the Environment in July 2011. Held positions such as Director of the Accounting Division, Director of the Secretariat Division, Director of the Waste and Recycling Policy Division, and Director-General of the Policy Planning Division. Became the Vice Minister of the Environment in July 2020. Deeply committed to promoting the regional circular symbiosis concept, the 2050 carbon neutrality goal, and carbon pricing. Retired in July 2022 and became an advisor at Nippon Steel Corporation in September 2022.

After completing a master’s program in geophysics at the University of Tokyo in 1985, he joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). He has held various positions, including Deputy Director of the Petroleum Distribution Division at the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Deputy Director of the Mining Division at the Location and Environmental Protection Bureau, Deputy Director of the Printing Business Division at the Consumer and Living Industry Bureau, Deputy Director of the Commercial Policy Division at the Industrial Policy Bureau, Deputy Director-General and Executive Officer of the Kagawa Prefectural Commercial and Labor Department, Director of the Environmentally Harmonious Industry Promotion Office (Eco-Town Office) at the Industrial Science and Technology and Environment Bureau, Head of the European Office of the Japan Business Machine and Information System Industries Association at JETRO Düsseldorf, Director of the R&D Promotion Department at the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Director of the Coal Division at the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, and Vice Governor of Akita Prefecture, before becoming Executive Director of the Carbon Frontier Organization. In August 2019, he established the Carbon Recycling Fund (CRF), a General Incorporated Association that treats CO2 as a resource and aims for a carbon circulation society. He concurrently serves as Executive Director of CRF.

Afterward, she worked at Money Design, Inc., and then oversaw marketing and PR at Plug and Play Japan, Inc. In March 2022, she established the Startup Ecosystem Association (Japan) and became the Representative Director. Founded the Moriya Minoru Office in 2010 and has been active as a new business entrepreneur. Participated in the launch of Rakusuru and CarePro, serving as Vice President. Afterward, served as director for various companies such as Caddy, Shitateru, Galapagos, Mirai Sozo Kiko, Fundino, Japan Agriculture, Soundfan, Seabee, Liberaware, Freelance Association, Ouchi ni Kaerou Hospital, Hakuhodo, JAXA, and JR East Startup.
