The Resource Recycling Council (RRC), a general incorporated association, is different from industry organizations within the same sector. It brings together a variety of stakeholders involved in the circular economy, including large corporations, startups, manufacturers, retailers, waste generators, collection and transportation companies, recycling businesses, financial institutions, local governments, experts, ministries, and related organizations, to collaborate and work beyond industry boundaries.
Membership is divided into five categories: Regular Members and Startup Members, who actively participate in activities; Approval Members, who support the council's mission; Supporting Members, who assist and support activities; and Special Members, who are recommended by employees and possess specialized knowledge.
In addition to members, the council also involves Sponsors, who support and collaborate with the council's activities, and Observers, such as government and public agencies, from whom the council seeks opinions as needed.
- For those considering membership
- If you are unsure which membership to join, please start by applying for the "Approval Member" status, which has no entrance or annual fees. As an Approval Member, you will receive RRC Magazine (which provides information on resource recycling) and be invited to events and seminars as networking opportunities with various stakeholders involved in resource recycling. After joining, if you wish to collaborate in working groups, you may change to another membership type, such as Regular Member.
