On September 12, 2025, the Ministry of the Environment, the Regional Environmental Office, and the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of sharing advanced examples and matching local governments, companies, and startups to achieve a circular economy in the region, solve regional issues, and revitalize the local economy and revitalize the region, based on the fact that the circular economy was designated as a national strategy in the “Fifth Basic Plan for the Promotion of a Recycling-oriented Society”. The “1st Resource Recycling Local Government Forum” was held by Osaka Prefecture and the 3R Resource Recycling Promotion Forum.

In the third session of the second part of the forum, there was a time for “Introduction of innovative technologies and business models by start-up companies” to introduce the activities of the Resource Circulation Promotion Council and the activities of start-up businesses with innovative technologies and business models in the circular economy field that will join the Council.

In order to promote the resource and carbon cycle, the Council will continue to strive to create contact points for policy formation among relevant ministries and agencies, and to create opportunities to support the growth of start-up businesses in collaboration with relevant ministries and agencies.
